My mum

Ambulance crews tried so very hard to save my Mum in January. Essex Air Ambulance came and kept her alive long enough for my family so say goodbye to her before she passed away. It meant we were able to be there at the end and it is something I will never be able to repay. You will never know my gratitude for that. Thank you for all you do.

Critical Care Crew

On 29.12.18 you treated and flew my critically injured sister to the Royal London hospital. Her injuries were life changing but she continues to work hard and amazes us with her strength every day. I don’t think I could begin to put into words what you did for us that day. You were so kind and I will never forget it. Thank you to all the crews who deal with the most difficult situations. ❤️

As a volunteer I see the amazing work that our air crews do every day, supported by an army of staff and volunteers. But none of this would be possible without the donation made buy so many wonderful people out there. Evert penny counts and goes towards the work of saving lives. As a volunteer, whenever I talk to people about EHAAT I say if you are ever unfortunate to fall victim to a life changing or life threatening incident then you could not be in better hands than the EHAAT HEMS crew. I want to also say a big thank you to the volunteer team, events and fund raising staff who do a great job engaging and supporting the volunteers in EHAAT shops and in major community and fund raising events. These girls are angels. Though out the pandemic I have had my own health problems, which have been many. During this time Jane found time to ring me to wish me well. Julia I think is my new best friend as we have chatted it seems for ages. I have tried to help when & where I can, hope to do more next year. Our Air Crews.

Working as a volunteer for EHAAT I believe I am working for a charity that is there to save lives and help those who are in need. Not just road traffic accidents but our air crews attend many different medical emergencies. It’s great to be a part of that team. As I meet many different people when I am out working for the trust it has surprised me how many have been or know someone who has been attended by one of our crews.

A few years ago, I witnessed a poor child on a scooter get hit by a van. I saw the air ambulance land and take care of the boy who had a bad brain injury but survived. It was the main reason why I became a volunteer. Thank you for making such a difference

On behalf of myself as a volunteer, I want to say thank you to the support teams (air field and offices) as well as all the air crew and EHAAT rapid responders, you put the meaning behind why volunteers do what they do.
